Aesthetic stomatology
High aesthetic requirements, beside the usual reconstructive procedure of tooth replacement, are becoming the unavoidable part of the stomatologic practice.
Ceramic Veeners
The method of selection for permanent changing the colour and the shape of teeth, with minimal invasivity on the tooth, are the ceramic veneers, of only 0,8 mm thickness, affixed on the tooth’s surface without any grinding. These are the so called „No prep“ veneers. In that way the dental structure remains untouched, while the aesthetic of the tooth is finished to the finest detail. If there is needed to correct significantly the shape and/or the position of the tooth, the procedure of making the ceramic veneers with a minimal tooth grinding is indicated. The patients undergo, before every ceramic veneers performance, the so called procedure of „Diagnostic waxing“ and the simulation of the final appearance of the future work. So the patient can get, before any decision, the impression of the final appearance of his new smile. Aesthetic fillings on teeth (“white fillngs”)
During the last years, in the stomatology the „white fillings“ or composite fillings, have become a must. Using the most modern materials for teeth reconstruction, we are achieving high aesthetic and functional results, thanking to the perfect optical and mechanical characteristics of the modern materials. |
Aesthetic surgery on the gengive
(mucogengival plastic surgery) The retirement of the gingive, the dental teeth’s necks are denuded and besides becoming too sensitive on cold, they are also a great aesthetic problem. Using the most modern methods of plastic surgery of the gingive, we can rightfully say that on that field we have a great experience. As our Practice does dedicate a great importance to the health and aesthetic of the gingive, it is sometimes indicated also a plastic periodontal surgery, enabling the red-white aesthetic to be elevated to a very high level. For this purpose we are applying the procedure of „shortening“ or „extending“ the gums, using transplants or methods of resection. |
